WhAT ARE FACTIONS ?

Factions are communities made up of individual members who represent them in Infinity Gaming Events. There are 9 Infinity Factions and more than 20 Residence Factions. Individual Members can also form custom factions at a fee (monthly per member payable to Infinity Gaming). When participating in Infinity Gaming events, there are 2 classes of points that can be earned, (1) Participation points and (2) Winning points. Participation points are awarded at the start of each event at 150 points at the beginning of each month for leagues (excluding June, July and November) and 100 points for every competition played. Winning points for both Leagues and Competitions are 100 additional points for 1st place, 60 for 2nd place and 30 for 3rd place.

These points, earned by individual members, are then added to the points of the faction. Factions are then ranked on the leaderboards based on their total points (participation and winning points). The top 3 factions on each leaderboard receive discounts and other privileges as per the Leaderboards page. Factions are governed by a council, led by a President and ministers. The president is the leader of the faction, and the ministers are the cabinet. Factions have a minimum of 1 alliance and 1 rivalry with other factions. Relationships between factions such as new allies and new allies develop with time through interactions between the different factions and their councils.
